Glee!

The first episode aired after the American Idol finale all those months ago and now, finally, new Glee episodes are being shown by fox starting from tonight with the second episode entitled Showmance".
The show revolves around a high school glee club consisting of an array of your stereotypical high school misfits and their struggles with both their inability to fit in with the popular crowd and their goal of rising the club back to its former success and popularity.

For those of you who didnt catch the pilot episode check out the wikipedia summary: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilot_(Glee)

The pilot, although a little messy at times, was promising and with such a talented cast at the helm even if you end up not liking the show the music performances may be worth a look, i'm already obsessessed with both their versions of Don't Stop Believin' and Goldigger.

Complain and Ye shall recieve

As if in answer to my verbal distaste to the new Desperate Housewives Promo picture a couple of days ago, I got sent this picture by email from a friend of mine tired of my whining.

I'm loving the whole warrior theme but they've messed up, every season the ladies have been wearing a different colour s1 was white, s2 black, s3 pink, s4 blue and s5 red and now season 6 has the cast in blue dresses again?

Why not orange or green, i'd been hoping they'd be in purple this time around (as marcia cross looks stunning in the colour)

Even so I gotta admit this is by far my favourite promotional image, all the ladies look good in dresses that are flattering to each of them, well done guys, well done indeed.

Desperately seeking originality

Well the first promo pic for the sixth season of Desperate Housewives (starts on September 27) has been released, and I'm not too fond of it, nothing special really and hardly professional looking or artistically creative, it's not like they haven't done the whole glamorously dressed and sporting housewifely accessories before - bit of a let down to be honest, hopefully this won't be the official art they'll be using for the DVD box set or anything.

LOST - Judgement by the monster

Lost was on tonight (SPOILERS) and it was truly a fantastic episode, Along side some Ben related flashbacks we eventually got to see Ben summon forth the black/grey smoke monster to judge him for causing Alex's death last season. We got some cool graphic shots of the smoke monster billowing out of a vent under the Temple before it engulfed Ben and shows him clips of him and/or Alex through the years up until her death.

Because he's truly sorry the smoke let's him live but not before summoning an Alex apparition thing to kick Ben around a bit and warn him not to kill Locke or she'll hunt him down and destroy him (It's the first time Ive really enjoyed a scene with Alex in) Not only do we get some questions answered at last but also some new ones raised such as who the hell is Ilana? and what the frick is she yapping about something lying in the shadow of the statue? I'm so glad to see that the lovely Penelope didn't get slaughtered too - that would have been heart breaking, I love Penny and Des, I hope they survive the season, apparently someone major-ish wont.

Finally a literal 'shocking' episode

Well they did it, the Desperate Housewives folks finally gave Sheridan the boot, couldnt upload a clip so follow the link to watch, or if your lazy just read on.
Poor Edie finally gets kicked to the curb on tonights episode, after escaping from Crazy psychotic Dave's throttling fingers Edie ploughs bonet first into a telephone pole after swerving recently granny-battered Klepto Orson. Not entertained enough by the proceedings so far Marc Cherry then has Nicollette Sheridan electrocuted to death (such fun!) for some reason Mary-Alice blathers on about possible survival, which, as we know from certain announcements, is a load of Bullcrap - she's stone cold DEAD
