Holly Marie Combs,

the actress who managed to keep Charmed watchable for eight seasons, long after the departure of Shannen Doherty (the only other talented gal on the show) with her fabulous acting skills turns 35 today.

God I love this woman and I'd kill for her gorgeous hair, hopefully her pilot for the US version of the BBC's Mistresses will get picked up and I can start watchin her again.

Bree: all drugged up - Hilarious!

From Last nights episode of Desperate Housewives, after the fire of clique ridden doom left Orson with a broken nose his snoring has developed to that of (what Bree refers to as) a terrified elephant summoning it's herd, which is so loud it's making her sleep deprived. Anyway she takes one too many sleeping tablets (thanks to Orson’s meddling) and ends up going to a work project in an hilarious state.

01/12/08 - AIDS Day

The day for raising awareness of AIDS and to honour people who have died from HIV/AIDS on this day.

Found some stats up on wikipedia (dont know how accurate they are):

"AIDS has killed more than 25 million people between 1981 and 2007, and an estimated 33 million people worldwide live with HIV as of 2007, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history. Despite recent, improved access to antiretroviral treatment and care in many regions of the world, the AIDS epidemic claimed an estimated 2 million lives in 2007, of which about 270,000 were children."

I had no idea just how many people were being affected by the disease, quite the eye opener.

Filthy Rainbow puppets

Rainbow: the adventures of Bungle the bear, Zippy the football headed thing and George the effeminate Hippo. Awww I loved Rainbow it was so camp and crappy, kinda like a low-budget version of sesame street.
Anyway I hadn't watched it in ages and started feeling nostalgic so I went searching for a clip or two on YouTube when I came across this naughty little video; I can only presume that it wasn't aired on TV, ever. lol.
